Briefs on the ‘Ek Rakhi Sainik Bhaiyon Ke Naam’ Campaign

Raipur, Aug 2025 : A delegation of Bharat Scouts and Guides Chhattisgarh paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai at his residence office today. The delegation apprised the Chief Minister about the state-wide campaign ‘Ek Rakhi Sainik Bhaiyon Ke Naam’ (One Rakhi for Soldier Brothers) organized by Bharat Scouts and Guides Chhattisgarh.

The delegation informed the Chief Minister that, in celebration of Raksha Bandhan, this special campaign was launched to honor the brave soldiers stationed at the country’s borders. Under this initiative, hand-made rakhis were crafted by Bulbuls, Guides, and Ranger sisters from all 33 districts of Chhattisgarh, which will be sent to the soldiers as a token of respect and gratitude.

Chief Minister Shri Sai appreciated the campaign, stating that it is heartening to see children from Chhattisgarh sending Rakhi threads to the soldiers safeguarding the nation. He emphasized that such initiatives instill a strong sense of patriotism among children while providing emotional strength to our soldiers.

Present on the occasion were State Chief Commissioner of Bharat Scouts and Guides Chhattisgarh Dr. Somanath Yadav, Mrs. Lakshmi Verma, Mr. Murli Sharma, Mr. Kailash Soni, Mr. Sameer Sheikh, and other dignitaries.
