CM Devendra Fadnavis Unveils ‘Mahavastra Paithani’ Coffee Table Book

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Aug 2025 : Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today released the coffee table book titled ‘Mahavastra Paithani’, prepared by the District Information Office. The unveiling took place during the concluding ceremony of the Akhand Harinam Saptah at Devgaon Shani in Vaijapur taluka, where CM Fadnavis was present.

On this occasion, Water Resources Ministers Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil (Godavari, Krishna Basin) and Girish Mahajan (Tapi, Vidarbha, Konkan), MLAs Ramesh Bornare and Vitthal Langhe, Suresh Chavhanke, District Collector Dilip Swami, and other dignitaries were also present.

The coffee table book has been created by the District Information Office using funds from the District Planning Committee. Under the ‘One Nation One Product’ initiative, District Collector Swami has been actively promoting the Paithani saree, a heritage product of the district. The book provides in-depth information about the history, craftsmanship, and significance of the Paithani saree, which is produced in Paithan.
