CM & Deputy CMs Inspect Buildings and Flats in Worli BDD Redevelopment Project – Dream Homes for BDD Residents

Mumbai, Aug 2025 : Today was a special day for families who have lived for generations in the BDD chawls of Worli. Before the allotment ceremony of flats in two newly completed rehabilitation buildings under the first phase of the BDD Chawl Redevelopment Project, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar inaugurated the buildings. The dignitaries then inspected the buildings and flats.

Present on the occasion were Legislative Council Deputy Chairperson Dr. Neelam Gorhe, MP Milind Deora, Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Minister Adv. Ashish Shelar, Minister of State Dr. Pankaj Bhoir, Additional Chief Secretary of the Housing & Urban Development Department Asimkumar Gupta, and MHADA Mumbai Board CEO Milind Borikar, among others.

Despite heavy rain, BDD residents turned up in large numbers to welcome the CM and Deputy CMs. Along with the dignitaries, the CM and Deputy CMs went up to the 40th floor to inspect one of the flats and expressed satisfaction with the work. CEO Borikar briefed them on the project details.
