Major Healthcare Boost for Bundi Residents — Minister of State for Energy Inaugurates Blood Separation Unit at District Hospital

Jaipur, Aug 2025 — Strengthening the healthcare infrastructure of Bundi district, Minister of State for Energy (Independent Charge) and Bundi District In-Charge Minister Hiralal Nagar on Thursday inaugurated an advanced Blood Component and Separation Unit at the district hospital by cutting the ribbon.

With this unit now operational, patients suffering from dengue, cancer, and other serious illnesses will no longer need to be referred elsewhere for life-saving requirements like plasma and platelets, bringing them significant relief.

On the occasion, Minister Nagar said the government is committed to providing the best possible medical facilities to the public at the local level. He also highlighted the significant contribution of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla in establishing the unit. According to him, the facility will not only save patients’ time but also reduce their financial burden.

Approved under the National Health Mission, the establishment of the unit and renovation of the building cost around ₹1.20 crore. Until now, patients needing specific blood components faced considerable difficulties, but these services will now be easily available at the district hospital itself.

Present at the event were Municipal Council Chairperson Saroj Agarwal, District President Rameshwar Meena, Additional District Collector Sudarshan Singh Tomar, Medical College Principal Dr. Shyojilal Meena, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Laxminarayan Meena, Panchayat Samiti members Archana Kanwar and Nupur Malav, Rajkumar Shringi, Kalulal Jangid, Bharat Sharma, Blood Bank In-Charge Rishi Kachhava, Technical Assistant Narayan Singh Hada, along with several eminent citizens and medical staff of the city.
