Chhattisgarh Delegation Embarks on Japan & South Korea Visit Under CM Vishnu Deo Sai’s LeadershipLaunch of Global Outreach Mission

Raipur, August 2025 : At the invitation of the India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO), Government of India, a high-level delegation from Chhattisgarh, led by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, departed today on an official visit to Japan and South Korea. The objective of this mission is to place Chhattisgarh firmly on the global investment map.

In Tokyo (August 22–24), the delegation will participate in investor connect sessions and business meetings with Japanese industrialists, trade associations, and investors. Later, in Osaka (August 25–26), Chief Minister Sai will attend the World Expo 2025 and hold discussions with stakeholders on investment opportunities in Chhattisgarh. The final leg of the visit will be in Seoul (August 27–29), where the delegation will host investor roundtables, sector-specific dialogues, and meetings with South Korea’s top companies and trade associations.

Focus on Chhattisgarh at World Expo 2025

At the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Chhattisgarh’s rich heritage, culture of innovation, and emerging future-oriented sectors will be showcased to a global audience through the Chhattisgarh Pavilion under the Bharat Mandapam. The pavilion has been designed to reflect the state’s unique identity and will highlight key focus areas such as industrial growth, renewable energy, information technology, and sustainable development. Officials stated that the exhibition will provide the world with a glimpse of Chhattisgarh’s transformation and aspirations for the future.

Strengthening Global Partnerships

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will engage directly with industry leaders, trade associations, and global investors in Japan and South Korea. The aim is to establish long-term partnerships, open new trade channels, and encourage knowledge exchange in technology and innovation.

By participating in one of the world’s largest platforms for innovation and collaboration, Chief Minister Sai seeks to attract investments in steel, mining, clean energy, and startups.
