Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai Pays Tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at ‘Little India’ in Tokyo

Mahatma Gandhi’s Eternal Message of Peace and Harmony Inspires the World – CM Sai

Raipur, Aug 2025 : During his visit to Japan today, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai reached ‘Little India’ in Tokyo and offered floral tributes to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi, paying his respects to the Father of the Nation.

On the occasion, Chief Minister Sai said that Mahatma Gandhi’s eternal message of peace, non-violence, and harmony is not confined to India alone, but serves as a source of inspiration for humanity across the globe.

He further remarked that the statue of Gandhi at ‘Little India’ stands as a symbol of India–Japan friendship and cultural connection. This place, he said, is not only a matter of pride for the Indian community in Japan but also serves to connect Japanese citizens with India’s great traditions and values.

Members of the Chief Minister’s delegation were also present during the event.
