CM Vishnu Dev Sai Visits Chhattisgarh Pavilion: A Stunning Display of the State’s Culture and Prosperity at World Expo 2025
Raipur, Aug 2025 : Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Dev Sai visited the Chhattisgarh Pavilion located at the India Pavilion during the ongoing World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. He explored the exhibition that showcases the state’s culture, traditions, and modern progress.

Notably, on the inauguration day itself, over 22,000 visitors arrived at the Chhattisgarh Pavilion. Visitors expressed excitement upon witnessing the state’s rich cultural heritage, tribal folk art, industries, and tourism offerings.
Chief Minister Sai stated that Chhattisgarh is now emerging before the world with a unique blend of tradition and modernity. “Our identity is not limited to heritage and folk culture; we are also rapidly progressing in the fields of industry, innovation, and global collaboration,” he said.
The pavilion features attractive displays of Chhattisgarh’s tribal art, weaving, handmade products, herbal items, and tourist sites. Additionally, special attention has been given to the state’s industrial potential, investment opportunities, and future prospects.
Visitors from Japan and other countries praised the Chhattisgarh Pavilion, especially commending the presentations based on handicrafts, bamboo products, Bastar art, and folk music. This helped create a positive image of the state among international audiences.
In a warm interaction with guests at the pavilion, Chief Minister Sai mentioned that Chhattisgarh is fully prepared for investment and partnerships. He invited the international community to join the state in taking steps towards new avenues of development.
Mr. Sai stated, “Our participation on a global platform like the World Expo conveys that Chhattisgarh can become a strong center not only for India but also for global partnerships.”
On this occasion, the Chhattisgarh delegation also engaged in discussions with investors and representatives from various countries. These meetings focused on industrial development, tourism promotion, and cultural exchanges, opening new opportunities for collaboration in the future.
