Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami Inspects Disaster-Affected Areas in Tharali, Meets Victims

Aug 2025 : Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today conducted an on-ground inspection of disaster-affected areas in Tharali and also met with the affected people.

On seeing the victims, CM Dhami halted his convoy, broke protocol, and personally reached out to the people to hear their problems. He assured them of all possible assistance. After Dharali, the Chief Minister once again set an exemplary example of sensitivity in Tharali.

During his visit, some villagers in Tharali requested the Chief Minister to ensure that access roads to the upper villages be reopened at the earliest. CM Dhami assured them that work to restore the road was already underway on a war footing and that once it was safe, he would personally visit the villages to assess the situation with the residents.

It is noteworthy that during the Dharali disaster as well, the Chief Minister had remained in the affected area for three consecutive days, personally monitoring every relief and rescue operation.

CM Dhami has sent out a clear message that the Uttarakhand government stands firmly with every affected family and is making every possible effort to deliver relief and assistance to the affected villages.
