Thousands of Candidates Found ‘Path to a Bright Future’ at Employment Assistance Camp
Over 4,000 Participants | On-the-Spot Appointment Letters | 60 Private Employers Offered 3,500 Vacancies | Career Guidance & Job Camp Held at Government College, Bagru
Jaipur, Aug 2025 : Under the joint aegis of the Sub-Regional Employment Office, Jaipur, and Government College, Bagru, a one-day Career Guidance and Employment Assistance Camp was organized on Friday at the Bagru college campus. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Kailash Verma, MLA of Bagru constituency.
Deputy Director of the Sub-Regional Employment Office, Jaipur, Mrs. Navrekha, informed that despite heavy rains, a total of 4,207 candidates participated in the camp. Around 60 private employers from sectors such as construction, logistics, hospitality, banking, healthcare, information technology, pharmaceuticals, call centers, and insurance attended with 3,500 job vacancies.
On-the-spot, 1,105 candidates were shortlisted, and 343 candidates were selected for training, benefitting a total of 1,448 job seekers. In addition to recruitment, the camp also provided career counseling and self-employment guidance.
On this occasion, Mrs. Navrekha also shared information about various schemes and activities of the Employment Department. Appointment letters were distributed to 10 newly recruited employees, and five private employers were felicitated for their contribution to job creation.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Dr. Kailash Verma said that women’s power and youth power hold the potential to take the world to new heights. He urged the youth not to be disheartened by failures but to turn them into stepping stones to success. He added that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, the state government is committed to economically empowering youth and will provide 1.25 lakh government jobs and nearly 1.5 lakh private sector jobs in the coming years.
Representatives from various departments also participated in the event, sharing details about their schemes. The program’s successful execution was supported by Junior Employment Officer Chandraprakash Meena and other staff members.
The event saw the presence of distinguished guests, including Dr. Virendra Verma, Registrar of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University; B.L. Mehra, Registrar of Haridev Joshi University of Journalism and Mass Communication; along with several public representatives, faculty members of the college, and a large number of citizens.
