CM Yogi Pays Tribute to Head of Ayodhya Royal Family

Ayodhya, Sept 2025 : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday reached the Ayodhya Rajsadan and paid homage during the terahvin (thirteenth-day ritual) of Raja Vimlendra Mohan Pratap Mishra, head of the Ayodhya royal family and member of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The Chief Minister offered flowers at the portrait of the late Raja Sahib and met the bereaved family members to express condolences.

An irreparable loss for society and culture:
CM Yogi Adityanath said the demise of Raja Vimlendra Mohan Pratap Mishra is not only an irreparable loss for Ayodhya but also for the entire state and society. He said Raja Sahib dedicated his life to Lord Ram Lalla and the Ram Mandir movement. His personality represented a unique confluence of faith, culture, and tradition.

Large presence of saints, seers, and public representatives:
A large number of saints, mahants, public representatives, administrative officials, and people from various social organizations attended the terahvin rituals. The atmosphere in the Rajsadan turned deeply emotional as everyone paid floral tributes, recalling Raja Sahib’s ideals and contributions.

Commitment to Lord Ram Lalla will always be remembered:
Raja Vimlendra Mohan Pratap Mishra had been ill for a long time and passed away a few days ago. News of his demise sent a wave of grief across the region. Citizens of Ayodhya and those connected with the royal family have been visiting the Rajsadan continuously to offer condolences.

CM’s visit — tribute and message of respect:
CM Yogi Adityanath’s visit was not only a mark of tribute but also a message of respect towards Ayodhya’s cultural heritage and the royal family’s contributions.

The program was attended by Cabinet Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, Mayor Girishpati Tripathi, District Panchayat Chairperson Roli Singh, MLAs Ved Prakash Gupta, Amit Singh Chauhan, Ramchandra Yadav, Abhay Singh, Chandrabhan Paswan, BJP District President Sanjeev Singh, Metropolitan President Kamlesh Srivastava, and several other dignitaries.
