Under CM Dr. Yadav, MP Rises as a Global Leader in Digital Transformation

Bhopal, Sept 2025 : Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Madhya Pradesh has achieved remarkable success in digital public infrastructure and global collaborations. Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Karnataka have so far been the primary hubs for tech companies such as Google Cloud and international investors. Madhya Pradesh has now joined this league, positioning itself as a major center for the country’s digital future.

The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute for Good Governance and Policy Analysis organised a policy dialogue on ‘Transformative Change, Sustainable Outcomes’. The event demonstrated that Madhya Pradesh is not only a policy-making state but also actively implements policies on the ground in collaboration with global institutions and technology companies.

The dialogue was attended by Shri Paramesh Shah, Global Lead at the World Bank, and Shri Siddharth Prakash, Strategy Head at Google Cloud. Both experts noted that Madhya Pradesh’s vision and commitment could make it a Lighthouse State for the entire country.

Shri Paramesh Shah highlighted that open digital systems in Asia and Africa have created new opportunities for farmers and youth. He expressed confidence that Madhya Pradesh’s institutions and vision could make it India’s first model state. He also suggested establishing an Open Network Lab in the state to consolidate departmental data and deliver precise, improved services to citizens.

Shri Siddharth Prakash noted that the clear vision and serious commitment with which Madhya Pradesh invited them is unique. He added that with artificial intelligence and cloud technologies, Madhya Pradesh could set a new benchmark for the entire country.

Director of the Institute and CEO of the State Policy Commission, Shri Rishi Garg, stated that digital public infrastructure is not just about technology but also a strong foundation of trust and transparency. Under CM Dr. Mohan Yadav, Madhya Pradesh is partnering with global institutions and innovators to drive new ideas and opportunities.

Commissioner of MGNREGA, Shri Avi Prasad, and CEO of MP DAY SRLM, Sushri Harshika Singh, highlighted that the Open Network could enhance social security programs and provide new directions for women’s empowerment and financial inclusion. Shri Ravi Pokharna, Executive Director of India Foundation, also shared suggestions for strengthening the digital framework.

CM Dr. Mohan Yadav’s visionary leadership and sustained efforts have positioned Madhya Pradesh as a new hub for digital transformation and global partnerships. The state has now joined the exclusive list of international leaders such as Google Cloud and the World Bank, becoming a key part of global discussions on digital public infrastructure and open networks.
