He was speaking at the India–Australia Business and Community Alliance (IABCA) Global Forum Leaders Meet and Roundtable Conference with CEOs held at the Jio World Trade Centre.
New policies to boost multiple sectors
Stating that the state government is committed to fulfilling the expectations of investors and entrepreneurs, the Chief Minister said the government is framing new policies across various sectors. Soon, policies for 14 sectors, including services, will be announced. The services sector contributes significantly to the state’s economic growth.
To ensure that entrepreneurs and investors do not face difficulties and receive clearances quickly, the government has created the Maitri Portal, a single-window scheme designed to provide investors with a smooth experience in Maharashtra, the CM added.
Ease of Doing Business reforms and infrastructure growth
Fadnavis further said that new reforms are being implemented in Ease of Doing Business, with innovative investment models being rolled out.
