Mamit District Level Orientation on Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan – Responsive Governance Programme Held
Mamit, Sept 2025: This afternoon, a District Level Orientation on the “Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan – Responsive Governance Programme” was held at the DC Conference Hall, Mamit, to discuss various initiatives under the programme.
Deputy Commissioner Pu K. Laltlawmlova said that the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan has been launched to help India achieve the vision of becoming a developed country by 2047. He emphasized that since the programme aims to bring visible progress to tribal communities, all departments must work together and contribute their knowledge and capacity to ensure successful implementation.
Pi Lalrampari, SDC and District Nodal Officer for the Abhiyan, gave a detailed presentation outlining the proposed initiatives, how the programme would be implemented at the district level, and its overall objectives.
During the event, the Mission Foundation Movement, a partner CSO from Mamit District, also participated.
Under the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan, the programme will cover 26 States, 549 Districts, 2,900 Blocks, and 63,000 Tribal Villages across India. In Mizoram, all 8 districts will be included. The initiative is part of the national effort to make India a developed nation by 2047, with preparatory activities planned since 2030.
The District-Level Orientation in Mamit saw the active participation of Heads of Departments and Line Departments across the district.
