Surprise Inspection of Anganwadi Centers at Rupsera and Lodam in Jashpur District
“Ensuring children’s health, nutrition, and education is the top priority of the state government” – Minister Rajwade
Raipur, Sept 2025 : Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Minister Mrs. Laxmi Rajwade is currently touring the Sarguja Division to review the ground-level implementation of departmental schemes. As part of this visit, today she made a surprise inspection of the Anganwadi centers located in Rupsera and Lodam villages of Jashpur district.

During the inspection, Minister Rajwade closely reviewed the facilities being provided to children, the distribution of nutritional meals, health check-up arrangements, educational activities, sanitation, and the services being delivered by Anganwadi workers. She lovingly picked up the children, interacted with them, and distributed chocolates. Her affectionate behavior delighted the children, creating an atmosphere of joy and enthusiasm at the centers.
She emphasized that Anganwadi centers are the first school that shapes the future of children, and strengthening them further is a shared responsibility.
While touring, Minister Rajwade gave clear instructions that no negligence related to children will be tolerated. She stressed that strong and efficient Anganwadi centers are the foundation of a bright future for children. Accordingly, she directed the concerned officials to make the Rupsera and Lodam Anganwadi centers more capable and well-organized. She further reminded officials and staff that providing quality nutrition and education to every child is the department’s core mission, and no laxity will be accepted.
In the presence of local public representatives and villagers during the inspection, Minister Rajwade reiterated that the state government’s highest priority is to ensure that every child grows up healthy, educated, and in a safe environment. For this, the government is providing all necessary resources.
