Digital Empowerment in Every Village

Raipur, Sept 2025 : Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Lakshmi Rajwade said that it is the state government’s priority to take Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Digital India campaign to every village. For this purpose, Atal Panchayat Digital Seva Kendras are being established in districts so that rural communities can access banking and other Common Service Centre (CSC) facilities right at the panchayat level.

Mrs. Rajwade was addressing a meeting at the Surajpur District Panchayat office, which was attended by all sarpanchs and CSC-authorized Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs).

It was discussed in the meeting that through the Atal Panchayat Digital Seva Kendras, villagers will be able to access services such as banking, electricity bill payments, pensions and insurance schemes, Aadhaar-related services, and other government schemes directly at the panchayat level.

The minister said that these centers will not only save time and resources for villagers but will also move them forward on the path of digital empowerment. She appealed to the sarpanchs and VLEs to work with transparency and accountability so that maximum people can benefit from these services.

MLA Mr. Bhulan Singh Maravi, District Panchayat President Mrs. Chandramani Paikra, along with other public representatives and administrative officials, were present in large numbers at the meeting.
