District Educational Conference Inaugurated: Teachers as Pillars of Nation-Building, Role Models for Guiding the Next Generation – Assembly Speaker
Jaipur, Sept 2025 : Under the aegis of Rajasthan Shikshak Sangh National Ajmer, the two-day District Educational Conference was inaugurated on Friday at Government Senior Secondary School, Topdara. The Assembly Speaker, Shri Vasudev Devnani, attended as the chief guest, while the program was presided over by Shri Bhanwar Singh Palada, Vice President of the Indian Kho-Kho Federation.
Shri Devnani emphasized that Rajasthan Shikshak Sangh National is the largest teachers’ organization in the state. Drawing on his own three decades of teaching experience, he said participating in such events feels like being part of a family. He stated that teachers are not limited to imparting lessons; they are the pillars of nation-building. A teacher shapes the life of a student and is responsible for developing their personality with firmness and discipline.
He noted that while students are achieving high academic scores, it is equally important to cultivate analytical skills and a sense of patriotism. Citing historical examples, he explained that leaders like Shivaji were inspired by their teachers to serve the nation selflessly.
Shri Devnani highlighted that adherence to the New Education Policy can ensure holistic development of students. He stressed the importance of teaching stories of national heroes so that students become job creators rather than merely job seekers. Equipping students with vocational skills will prepare them to contribute to India’s growing economy.
He urged teachers to inspire students with a sense of pride in India’s greatness and to familiarize them with the discoveries of great scholars such as Bhaskaracharya and Aryabhata. Teachers, he concluded, should serve as role models in society and guide the next generation in the right direction.
