CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Directs Speedy Progress on Construction and Road Repair Works
Dehradun, Sept 2025: During a high-level meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence on Tuesday, Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami instructed officials to accelerate construction and renovation projects across the state.
The CM emphasized that with the monsoon season now over, all departments must expedite work on the ground. While reviewing the Public Works Department, he directed that all roads be made pothole-free within the stipulated timelines. He underscored that any negligence in road construction or repair would not be tolerated.
Chief Minister Dhami stressed that the reconstruction and repair of damaged roads should be completed on a priority basis. Special monitoring should be maintained in areas that frequently report road-related complaints, with a strong focus on the quality of work.
He further instructed that the progress of the “Pothole-Free Road Campaign” be reviewed weekly and that all patchwork be completed by 31 October 2025.
The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary Shri R. K. Sudhanshu, Secretaries Shri Shailesh Bagoli and Dr. Pankaj Pandey, Shri Vinay Shankar Pandey, Additional Director General of Police Shri A. P. Anshuman, Special Secretary Dr. Parag Madhukar Dhakate, and Additional Secretary Shri Banshidhar Tiwari.
