Appointment Orders Distributed at District Employment Fair
Raigad – Alibag, Oct 2025 : The government is focused on strengthening the administrative machinery to ensure that citizens receive faster and more efficient public services, said Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare.
She was speaking at the district-level event for the Raigad District Employment Fair, which also included the distribution of appointment orders for compassionate appointments and clerical recruitments, held at the Niyojan Bhavan in Alibag.
The event was attended by Minister for Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme Bharat Gogawale, District Collector Kishan Jawale, Superintendent of Police Anchal Dalal, Chief Executive Officer Neha Bhosale, District Superintendent of Land Records Sunil Indalkar, District Supply Officer Sarjerao Sonawane, Deputy CEO Mr. Pathare, State Excise Officer Ravikiran Kole, Resident Deputy Collector Sandesh Shirke, Women and Child Development Officer Nirmala Kuchik, and other dignitaries.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Tatkare said that under the 150-day program initiated by Maharashtra’s popular Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Raigad district has successfully completed 100 percent of the assigned administrative work.
She added that the appointment orders being distributed today mark a new chapter in the lives of the selected candidates and will shape their future careers. Last year, through direct recruitment, 216 candidates were appointed as Village Revenue Officers (Gram Mehsul Adhikari), 18 as Revenue Assistants, and 41 candidates in the Supply Department. Additionally, 11 employees were promoted from the posts of Peons and Revenue Assistants to Village Revenue Officers.
Under the revised service structure, 178 officers and employees have benefited from the Assured Career Progression (ACP) Scheme, and 61 officers have received permanency certificates.
She also announced that the recruitment process for vacant positions in the Kotwal and Police Patil cadres would begin soon.
Highlighting a key welfare measure, Minister Tatkare said that the Women and Child Development Department has implemented 1% reservation in government jobs for orphans, benefiting over a thousand candidates so far. Among them are four officers, more than ten Class-II officers, and over 400 Class-III officers. “This clearly shows that the MahaYuti government stands firmly behind the welfare of orphans,” she remarked.
District Collector Kishan Jawale stated that as part of the 150-day program, all government departments in the district have made significant progress in staffing and administrative matters. He also noted that all name-list updates and iGOT training courses have been successfully completed.
At the event, 125 newly appointed candidates, including those selected through the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) and on compassionate grounds, received their appointment letters from the dignitaries.
