Yogi warns that anyone who threatens women’s safety will face severe consequences

During his address on the supplementary budget in the Assembly on Thursday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath referred to the incident that occurred on July 31 in Gomtinagar.

Regarding the molestation of a girl and misbehaviour with passersby in the water-logged underpass near Hotel Taj, CM Yogi commented, “The first accused in the case is Manoj Yadav and the second is Mohammad Arbaaz. ‘Ye sadbhavna wale log hain. Chinta na kariye humari sarkar inke liye Sadbhavna train nahi balki ‘Bullet’ train chalayegi. Iski taiyari ki jaa rahi hai (These are people of ‘goodwill.’ Don’t worry, our government will not offer them a Sadbhavna train but a ‘bullet’ train. Preparations are underway for this)”

CM Yogi emphasized that from the very beginning, the government made it clear that women’s safety is a top priority and that anyone who threatens it will face severe consequences. “We have taken this incident very seriously. Consequently, we have removed the DCP, ADCP, and ACP. Additionally, action has been taken by suspending the police station inspector and the entire chowki.”

CM Yogi stated that while the government will ensure respect and security for everyone, those who create chaos will face consequences. He emphasized that anyone causing unrest in the state will not be spared and that strict action will be taken in response to such incidents.
