Divyang Persons Should Not Underestimate Themselves; God Has Endowed You with Special Abilities: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, while addressing a distribution camp organized for Divyang persons at the Kalidas Academy premises on Friday, said that Divyang citizens should never consider themselves lesser than others, as God has blessed them with special abilities. He said that Maharshi Ashtavakra was also a Divyang, yet no one could defeat him in scholarly debates, he was a man of great wisdom. If God gives us a weakness, He also grants us a unique strength.
CM Dr. Yadav said that as part of the Seva Saptah, assistive devices are being distributed to Divyang beneficiaries. He said, “This is not only human service but also a source of spiritual satisfaction.” Every assistive device has great significance, for example, those using hearing aids experience the joy of sound for the first time, which is deeply moving. He added that the human body is a reflection of the universe itself, and true service to humanity is indeed service to God. CM Dr. Yadav encouraged Divyang citizens to recognise their special strengths, work hard and achieve success in life.
The Chief Minister extended his best wishes to all Divyang beneficiaries and personally distributed scooters, specialised tricycles and walking sticks. He said that the provision of motorized wheelchairs and scooters will help Divyang brothers and sisters in their employment and make their daily activities easier.
On this occasion, Member of Parliament Shri Anil Firozia said that under the guidance of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, relief compensation is being provided to farmers for crop damage, and the Bhavantar Yojana has also been launched to ensure fair prices for their produce.
In memory of Late Shri Bhurelal Firozia, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav distributed assistive devices worth ₹1.25 crore, including electric scooters, hearing aids, walking sticks, and wheelchairs, to 146 Divyang beneficiaries under the program organized by the Social Research Institute. He also handed over hearse vans to six municipal councils, Makdon, Unhel, Nagda, Khachrod, Tarana, and Badnagar, for public service. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav handed over keys to electric scooter recipients and flagged them off.
The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. Shri Sudarshan proposed the vote of thanks.The event was attended by MLA Shri Satish Malviya, Municipal Corporation Chairperson Smt. Kalavati Yadav, Shri Sanjay Agrawal, Shri Rajendra Bharti, and other dignitaries.
