Eastern Railway Howrah Division to introduce additional EMU Specials for JAGADDHATRI PUJA.

Oct 2025 : In order to clear the expected heavy rush of passengers during ensuing “Jagadhatri Puja” at Chandannagar, 05 pairs of additional EMU Special Trains between Howrah & Bandel and 01 pair of EMU Special Train between Howrah & Barddhaman, will be operational during the period from 28.10.2025 to 02.11.2025 stopping at all stations enroute.

• Howrah – Bandel EMU specials for Bandel will leave Howrah at 17:20 hours; 19:55 hours; 20:35 hours; 23:30 hours; 00:30 hours during 28.10.2025 to 01/02.11.2025. Similarly,

• Bandel – Howrah EMU specials will leave Bandel at 18:35 hours; 21:20 hours; 21:55 hours; 01:00 hours; 02:00 hours from 28.10.2025 to 02.11.2025.

• Howrah – Barddhaman EMU special (via Bandel) will leave Howrah at 01:15 hours from 28.10.2025 to 02.11.2025.

• Barddhaman – Howrah EMU special (via Bandel) will leave Barddhaman at 22:30 hours from 27.10.2025 to 02.11.2025.

• 01 additional Howrah – Bandel – Howrah EMU special train will leave Howrah at 02:35 hours & will leave Bandel at 04:00 hours on 02.11.2025 (Dasami & Immersion, and Procession).

• 36087: Howrah – Masagram local (Howrah departure 19:27 hours) will be extended upto Barddhaman from 28.10.2025 to 01.11.2025.

• 36088: Masagram – Howrah local will remain cancelled from 28.10.2025 to 01.11.2025; since services of 36088 will be rerouted as Special Barddhaman – Howrah via Bandel, leaving Bardhaman at 22:10 hours on same day.

• 63501: Howrah – Barddhaman local leaving Howrah at 01:45 hours and will stop at all stations enroute in between Howrah & Bandel from 29.10.2025 to 02.11.2025.  

• 53002: Azimganj – Howrah Passenger special will stop at all stations between Bandel & Howrah from 29.10.2025 to 02.11.2025.

• 37924: Katwa – Howrah EMU local after leaving Bandel Junction at 17:08 hours will provide stoppage at Hooghly, Chuchura, Chandannagar, Mankundu, Bhadreswar, Baidyabati, Srirampur, Rishra, Konnagar, Hindmotor, Uttarpara, Bally, Belur and Liluah from 29.10.2025 to 01.11.2025. This is in addition to its schedule stoppage in Sheoraphuli Junction.
