Kedar Sabha Praises CM Dhami’s Swift Rescue Efforts in Kedarnath

The President of Kedar Sabha, Shri Rajkumar Tiwari, praised the rescue operations led by Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami during the disaster in Kedarnath Valley. He expressed gratitude on behalf of the pilgrim priests for the immediate relief provided in response to the calamity in Lincholi, Gaurikund, and Sonprayag on July 31st. Tiwari highlighted that the Chief Minister visited the affected area on August 1st, gave instructions to expedite rescue operations, and ensured communication between officials, pilgrim priests, and local people, bringing significant relief to those affected.

Tiwari commended Chief Minister Dhami’s prompt actions in addressing the calamity. On Tuesday, the Chief Minister conducted an aerial survey of the affected areas, reviewed the travel route, and issued directives to restore normal life, repair damaged roads, and restore drinking water and power lines. He also instructed the start of the pilgrimage to Shri Kedarnath Dham as soon as possible. Additionally, Dhami announced a 25 percent discount on helicopter services for devotees arriving at Shri Kedarnath Dham starting Wednesday, a move that has been welcomed.

Furthermore, Tiwari called for compensation for the disaster victims from the Chief Minister, emphasizing the need for continued support and relief efforts in the affected areas.
