Rajasthan CS Calls for Faster Execution and Regular Monitoring of Rising Rajasthan MoUs
Review Meeting on Progress of MoUs Under Rising Rajasthan — Regular Monitoring Needed from Land Allotment to Project Development: Chief Secretary
Jaipur, Nov 2025 : Chief Secretary Shri Sudhansh Pant said that the MoUs signed under Rising Rajasthan across various sectors must be swiftly translated into on-ground projects, and efforts should be intensified to achieve the ground-breaking targets set for the upcoming quarter. He directed departmental officers to continuously monitor the entire process—from land allotment to project development—so that investment proposals can be implemented quickly.
Shri Pant was reviewing the ground-breaking targets for the third quarter of the current financial year under Rising Rajasthan at the State Secretariat on Friday. He informed that during last year’s Global Investment Summit, MoUs worth nearly ₹35 lakh crore were signed. Of these, work has already begun on projects worth ₹7 lakh crore in less than a year. He said that by maintaining constant coordination and communication with investors, this number can be increased even further.
While reviewing department-wise investment MoUs signed during the summit, the Chief Secretary instructed officials to prepare a special action plan for ground-breaking of new projects and work in mission mode. After land allotment, officials must visit project sites regularly, monitor the actual project status, upload progress photographs, and ensure monthly updates. He also reviewed the progress of department-wise MoUs and directed that necessary action on pending projects be completed at the earliest.
In the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary for Industries, Shri Alok Gupta, informed that RIICO has so far issued land allotment letters for 347.45 hectares to execute 1,387 MoUs. Similarly, the Revenue Department has allotted 34,000 hectares for 33 projects, and the Civil Aviation Department has allotted 22,000 hectares for 8 projects.
The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary for Higher & Technical Education Shri Kuldeep Ranka; Principal Secretaries Shri Dinesh Kumar (Revenue), Shri Rajesh Kumar Yadav (Tourism), Shri T. Ravikant (Mining), Dr. Debashish Prusti (Urban Development & Housing); Secretaries Dr. Neeraj K.
