CM Yogi roared on the final day of campaigning for Bihar’s second phase
Araria, Nov 2025 : On the final day of campaigning for the second phase of the Bihar Assembly elections, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath delivered a spirited address in support of NDA candidates. His first public meeting was held in the Sikti Assembly constituency, where he urged voters to re-elect BJP candidate MLA Vijay Kumar Mandal.

Launching a sharp attack on the Grand Alliance, including the Congress and RJD, CM Yogi said those with a tainted and dark past cannot be trusted. He accused them of pushing Bihar into “jungle raj” and destroying its glorious legacy.
Paying obeisance to the land of Goddess Janaki, Yogi Adityanath said the enthusiasm shown by mothers, sisters, and youth in the first phase of voting reflects their commitment to progress. “When the EVMs open on November 14, Phir Ek Baar NDA Sarkar,” he said.
The Chief Minister said Bihar, once a global seat of learning, suffered a literacy crisis under the Congress and RJD governments. “These people dragged Bihar to its lowest point. But in 2005, the state awakened under Nitish Kumar’s leadership, and today its youth are creating new benchmarks in civil services, startups, and entrepreneurship,” he said, urging voters to keep Bihar’s journey of development uninterrupted.
Attacking the opposition further, CM Yogi said, “These are not the people of development, but the ones who turned development into jungle raj.” He reminded people of the dark days of RJD’s 15-year rule, marked by over 60 massacres and 30,000 kidnappings, when even businessmen, engineers, doctors, and daughters were unsafe. “Bihar must never return to that era,” he asserted, adding that under PM Modi’s guidance and CM Nitish Kumar’s leadership, the NDA’s ‘five Pandavas’ are driving Bihar’s growth and prosperity.
Highlighting Bihar’s progress, Yogi said the state today has improved road, rail, air, and electricity connectivity. “The Darbhanga airport has made travel easier. Under PM Modi, there is respect for faith, heritage, development, and welfare of the poor,” he noted.
Taking aim at the opposition’s anti-faith stance, Yogi said, “Congress, SP, and RJD leaders opposed the Ram temple. RJD stopped the Rath Yatra, and SP fired on Ram bhakts. Even then, we vowed to build the temple, facing lathis and bullets. Today, a grand Ram temple stands in Ayodhya, and Ram Lalla has been enthroned. The NDA government is also building a magnificent temple of Maa Janaki in Sitamarhi.”
CM Yogi also cited key achievements of the Modi government, the opening of 46 crore Jan Dhan bank accounts that ended the middleman culture of Congress and RJD, and free LPG connections to 10 crore poor households under the Ujjwala Yojana. “Congress used to charge ₹25,000–₹50,000 for the same connection. From 1990 to 2005, they looted fodder meant for animals; if given another chance, they’ll loot people’s rations,” he warned, urging voters to keep Bihar on the path of development under the NDA.
