Tribal Development Minister Dr. Vijayakumar Gavit Launches Development Works in Shahada Taluka

Nandurbar : Tribal Development Minister Dr. Vijayakumar Gavit laid the foundation stone and inaugurated various development projects today in the villages of Vaijali, Nandarde, Karankheda, Kalmadi, Sonaval, Parivardha, Salsadi, and Pingane in Shahada Taluka.

Present at the event were Chairman of Shahada Panchayat Samiti Vir Singh Thackeray, Sarpanch Mrs. Surekha Thackeray, Upsarpanch Ganesh Thackeray, and other notable attendees including Sanjay More, Manilal Patil, Yogesh Patil, Dr. Jagdish Patil, Sandeep Patil, Pravin Patil, Rakesh Patil, Chunilal Patil, Shashikant Patil, Mojra Padvi, and Janhvi Girase.

The development works include road improvement, paving, asphalting, concreting, widening, bridge construction, construction of defense walls, and road drainage. Specific projects in each village are as follows:

Vaijali:

• Improvement of Vaijali Kalmadi Javade road
• Concreting of road in Terhavad Vaijali village
• Upgradation of National Route 2 from Vaijali to Kalmadi Javade Road
• Widening of Vaijali Kalmadi Javde road
• Improvement of Vaijali to Kathardai Kh. Road

Nandarde:

• Construction of a small bridge over river Vaki on Terhavad Vaijali Bhade road
• Upgradation of Nandarde Shivar to Tarhavad Rehabilitation Shiva Road

Karankheda:

• Upgradation of Vaijali Nandarde Prakash and Sonaval to Karankheda road
• Upgradation of the road connecting Karankheda to Borad limits
• Upgradation of Karankheda to Nandarde road

Kalmadi:

• Construction of a concrete road in Kalmadi village on Vaijali Kalmadi road
• Widening and upgradation of Vaijali Kalmadi Gharavad Wadi Road

Sonaval:

• Upgradation of Sonaval to Karankheda road
• Upgradation of Sonwal to Tarhadi road
• Construction of road from Sonaval to Dheng

Parivardha:

• Concreting of road in Parivardha village on Parivardha to Waghoda road
• Improvement of Parivardha Waghoda Katharda road
• Upgradation of Padalta to Parivardha road

Kalsadi:

• Upgradation of Prakash Dhurkheda Bhade Alkhed road with drainage
• Upgradation of Pingane Dhurkheda Road to Jageshwar Mandir Road

Pingane:

• Construction of protection fence along Pingane Dhurkheda road to Jageshwar Mandir road
• Construction of protection wall near Gomai river in Pingane village
