CM Chaired Meeting On NCC Group Heafquarters

Aizawl, Nov 2025: Today, Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma held a discussion in his office regarding the ongoing works for the establishment of the NCC Mizoram Group Headquarters. The meeting was attended by Pu Lalnghinglova Hmar, Minister for Sports and Youth Services, along with other senior officials.

At present, there are 4 NCC units in Mizoram with around 8,000 cadets, all under the administrative control of the Silchar Group Headquarters. In July this year, NCC authorities had proposed setting up a separate Mizoram Group Headquarters within the state. The Mizoram Council of Ministers approved this proposal in September.

Currently, identification of a suitable location and assessment of requirements for the new headquarters are being undertaken.

Under the NCC structure, all units function under their respective Group Headquarters, and the establishment of the Mizoram Group Headquarters will be taken forward by the State Government.
