Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Nov 2025 : The significance of Ayurveda—an approach to healing aligned with nature—is now being recognized across the world. The Ministry of AYUSH has been actively promoting this traditional system through education, medical practice, and research. As a result, the coming era will be a golden age for Ayurveda, asserted Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today.
The new building of Shriyash Ayurvedic College and Hospital Research Center, located in the Satara Tanda area, was inaugurated at the hands of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Other dignitaries present included Minister for OBC and Bahujan Welfare Atul Save, Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Bhagwat Karad, Shriyash Pratishthan’s Basavaraj Mangrule, Secretary Sangita Mangrule, Hospital Superintendent Dr. Paresh Deshmukh, and Dean Swati Itge.
The Chief Minister said that this system of medicine, which aligns with the Indian way of life and resonates deeply with nature, has been described in the Vedas under the name Ayurveda. Ayurveda treats diseases not merely by addressing symptoms but by reaching their root cause, making it a truly sustainable healing method. The global use of Ayurvedic treatment is steadily rising, and many people from across the world now come to India seeking Ayurvedic care. Ayurveda has given the world a scientifically grounded medical system and has also contributed significantly to surgical practices, he added.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Ayurvedic medicinal supplements formed a major component of immunity-boosting treatments. The Central Government has been encouraging this system of healing, and Ayurvedic colleges are being strengthened to produce well-trained physicians.
Speaking further, the Chief Minister said that India is poised to become one of the world’s leading economies in the coming decade, aiming to rise to the third position globally. By 2047, India will have emerged as an economic superpower. He also mentioned that Marathwada is being actively supported in its industrial development, and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar is now being recognized as the electric vehicle capital.
