Global Youth Festival 2025 to be Held on December 6–7 by the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare
Mumbai, Nov 2025 : The Global Youth Festival is being organised for the city’s youth on December 6 and 7 at Jio World Garden, Bandra, by the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare in collaboration with Shrimad Rajchandra Mission. The event will be held in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Adv. Manikrao Kokate. More than 10,000 young participants will take part in unique activities focused on peace of mind, adventure, arts, culture, music, yoga–meditation, socially driven initiatives, and skill-building.
With the support of the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare, this festival is set to become one of the country’s leading youth events. It aims to evolve into a youth-driven movement dedicated to bringing about social transformation through self-transformation.
After successful editions in cities like London and Pune, the Global Youth Festival is being organised in Mumbai this year. The Global Youth Community is an inspiring youth-led movement spread across more than 20 countries and over 170 cities. Creators, professionals, artists, entrepreneurs, and changemakers have come together to form the Global Youth Committee.
The festival goes beyond entertainment through impactful initiatives such as cyclothons that bring together thousands of participants, various rural development projects, and programmes focusing on health, animal welfare, and education — making it a celebration of impact and positive change.
Instead of being limited to a single theme like music or art, the Global Youth Festival offers a holistic experience. It includes demonstrations of socially useful initiatives such as women’s empowerment, child education, rural development, animal welfare, and environmental conservation. The festival will also feature India’s largest outdoor sound healing experience, along with music, art, meditation, journaling, pottery, drum circles, and fun pop-up activities.
