Haryana Government notifies the timelines of four services of Higher Education Department
Chandigarh – The Haryana Government has notified the timelines for four services of the Higher Education Department under the Haryana Right to Service Act, 2014. This initiative aims to ensure the prompt and efficient delivery of essential educational documents to students and citizens, enhancing transparency and accountability.
According to a notification issued by the Chief Secretary, Sh. T.V.S.N. Prasad these services include Migration Certificates, Provisional Degrees, Detailed Marks Certificates (DMCs), and Original Degrees.
The notification states that the issuance of a Migration Certificate must be completed within seven days by the Assistant Registrar of the University. The Controller of Examination is responsible for providing the service for the issuance of Provisional Degrees within five days. If a student does not receive their Detailed Marks Certificate (DMC) within 30 days from the declaration of results, the Controller of Examination is required to issue the DMC within ten days. The issuance of Original Degrees, if not received by students within 180 days from the declaration of results, must be completed by the Controller of Examination within ten days.
In cases where grievances arise, the Registrar will act as the First Grievance Redressal Authority, and the Vice Chancellor of the University will serve as the Second Grievance Redressal Authority.
