Quality of education is being enhanced academically through Vimarsh portal

The School Education Department has provided a platform to academically strengthen the teachers, students and schools of government schools and to improve the quality of education. This platform is being operated in the name of Vimarsh Portal.

Login has been made available in division, district, development block and schools on the Vimarsh portal. Continuous monitoring of school education system is being done through the portal. Subject wise enrollment of students, bridge course, information related to school infrastructure, information of teachers teaching subject wise, information of principals and examination results of the schools are being recorded on the portal. The examination results are also being analyzed through this system. Along with this, the details of the books sent by the Textbook Corporation to the government schools are also being recorded.

In the academic monitoring system of Vimarsh portal, information of monitoring of schools done every month by divisional and district level officers is being recorded. On the Vimarsh YouTube channel, video lectures of subject expert teachers, tips and tricks based videos and videos of various subjects and study material have been made available for online study. Information related to examinations for students of classes 9 to 12 has been made available on the portal. Vocational courses and Urdu medium textbooks have also been uploaded on the portal for students.

‘Umang’ Jeevan Kaushal Shiksha Programme, designed with the aim of helping students in career guidance and counselling, has been made online.
