₹30 Crore Allocated for Balasaheb Thackeray Agri-Business and Rural Transformation Project
Mumbai — A total of ₹30 crore has been allocated to the Balasaheb Thackeray Agri-Business and Rural Transformation Project for the implementation of various initiatives during the 2024-25 fiscal year. This allocation includes an external share of ₹21 crore and a state share of ₹9 crore. The Department of Agriculture has issued a government decision regarding this distribution.
The Balasaheb Thackeray Agri-Business and Rural Transformation Project is being implemented across all districts of the state over a seven-year period from 2019-20 to 2026-27. A budget of ₹160 crore has been allocated for this project in the 2024-25 financial year. Following a request from the project director, the government has decided to distribute ₹30 crore for the project’s implementation from July 2024 to September 2024, with ₹21 crore as the external share and ₹9 crore as the state share.
