₹24.74 Crore Sanctioned for Chief Minister’s Agriculture and Food Processing Scheme

Mumbai : A sum of ₹24.74 crore has been sanctioned for the Commissioner of Agriculture to implement the Chief Minister’s Agriculture and Food Processing Scheme for the year 2024-25.

The Chief Minister’s Agriculture and Food Processing Scheme, fully funded by the state government, aims to uplift farmers by promoting the food processing industry within the state. The scheme encourages the establishment of projects based on modern technology through farmer participation to increase the value of agricultural produce. It also supports the modernization of facilities to enhance food quality and energy efficiency.

A budget allocation of ₹75 crore has been made for the Chief Minister’s Agriculture and Food Processing Scheme for the year 2024-25.
