200 “Vikas Rathas” to Showcase Rajasthan Govt’s 2-Year Achievements Across Assembly Constituencies
Jaipur, Dec 2025 : To mark the completion of two years of the state government, 200 specially prepared “Vikas Rathas” (Development Chariots) will tour all 200 assembly constituencies to widely publicize government achievements, flagship schemes, and budget announcements.
On Friday, Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma will flag off 50 Vikas Rathas from Harishchandra Mathur Rajasthan Institute of Public Administration in Jaipur. The remaining 150 Rathas will be flagged off from district headquarters by district in-charge ministers after press briefings. Chief Secretary Shri V. Srinivas stated that through these Rathas, information about the government’s two-year achievements, flagship schemes, and policy reforms will be effectively communicated to citizens via audio-visual media.
Preparations and Monitoring:
On Thursday, the Chief Secretary reviewed preparations through a video conference with all divisional commissioners, IGs of police, and district collectors. He instructed that all Rathas should follow the designated routes with public participation. A nodal officer, either a Block Development Officer or senior official, has been assigned for each Ratha.
To monitor routes and security, a control room has been set up. All Rathas will be geo-tagged and tracked daily at the state level. During the 15-day campaign marking the government’s two-year completion, state nodal officer and ACS of Water Resources, Shri Abhay Kumar, directed that night halts be arranged at panchayat offices and that Rathas reach every part of their assembly constituencies.

During the meeting, the Chief Secretary obtained feedback from divisional commissioners, IGs, and district collectors regarding Ratha routes, schedules, availability, security arrangements, and press briefing preparations.
Each Ratha will carry departmental development booklets and other promotional materials. A suggestion box will allow citizens to provide feedback, with instructions issued to act on suggestions received. District-level press briefings will include the district in-charge minister, divisional commissioner, district collector, MLAs, and local representatives.
