Bhopal Region to Become Best Example of Heritage and Development : CM Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that today is a historic day as the state government has completed two years of development journey and service to people and history is being scripted in Bhopal, which will become a model example of heritage and development. Swagat Dwar in Bhopal, we are trying to preserve state’s heritage. At the same time, for providing the city with clean, accessible, and pollution-free transport service, ground-breaking of state-of-the-art E-Bus depot under PM E-Bus Service Scheme is being done. With these efforts of state government, Bhopal region will develop as best example of heritage and development. In capital Bhopal, which symbolises glorious past and rich culture of Madhya Pradesh, 9 Swagat Dwar are being constructed. In Bhopal, grand Swagat Dwar will also be constructed in the names of Parmar dynasty’s great king Raja Bhoj, Emperor Vikramaditya, Shri Ram and Shri Krishna. State’s cultural heritage has been associated with modern urban development.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing a programme held at Maharana Pratap Government Higher Secondary School in Fanda, Huzur Assembly Constituency, on Bhopal-Sehore route, on completion of successful two years of state’s development and service. First, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav paid floral tribute to Maharana Pratap’s statue and performed ground-breaking of Samrat Vikramaditya Swagat Dwar and state-of-the-art E-Bus depot under PM E-Bus Service Scheme in Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was warmly welcomed by women and beneficiaries of various schemes at the programme venue.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Campaign, soil will be removed to deepen Bade Talab, which will solve problem of water supply in fields. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that on regional demand, proposal to rename village Fanda as Harihar Nagar will be considered. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also announced Rs 5 crore for school building in village Tumda and construction of college building in village Fanda.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that nation is identified with Lord Shri Ram and Shri Krishna. From them, we can understand importance of relationships in life. Many histories are associated with Madhya Pradesh.
Brave Vikramaditya never bowed before any power. His bravery, seriousness, generosity and justice are well-known. In his life, people were the God. As a result of his influence, many kings adopted Vikramaditya title. Governance, trust and security systems established by Samrat Vikramaditya are still exemplary for best governance. State government is following these principles, moving on path of development, service and public welfare. During Vikramaditya’s reign, grand temple of Lord Shri Ram was built on banks of Saryu River in Ayodhya, which Babur destroyed. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had a grand temple built at Lord Shri Ram’s birthplace. For this, volunteers struggled for 550 years.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, mentioning state’s rich religious and cultural heritage, said that Bada Talab constructed during Raja Bhoj’s reign still stands as an example of ideal technology. After taking education in Ujjain, Lord Shri Krishna shared knowledge with society through message of Gita in Mahabharat war. Through friendship with Sudama, Shri Krishna explained meaning of friendship to the world. The state government is making all religious places related to Shri Ram and Shri Krishna fully equipped.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that state government is continuously working for empowerment of mothers and sisters are sacred like Ganga. State government considers all as beloved sisters, above religion and society. Amount is being sent to sisters’ accounts every month. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is running River Linking campaign for farmer welfare. To provide better education with values, Sandeepani Schools and Gurukuls are being established. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav appealed to people to stop extravagance in weddings and death ceremonies. He said saving money to educate children is more important. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav referred to recent mass wedding of his son, urging everyone to promote social harmony.
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Bhopal District In-Charge Minister Shri Chaitanya Kumar Kashyap said Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is always ready to preserve state’s heritage while establishing new development paradigms. Our government’s third year begins on the basis of Samrat Vikramaditya’s good governance. For first time in state, farmers received compensation for crops within 15 days. Bhavantar scheme was launched to ensure fair price for crops. Rs 1500 is being sent monthly to beloved sisters, gradually increasing. Abhyuday Madhya Pradesh is witnessing flow of development. Preparations for grand Simhasth event are underway. Industrial development in state has gained momentum. Many global investors want to come to Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is enhancing Madhya Pradesh’s prestige nationally and internationally.
MLA Shri Rameshwar Sharma said under leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, unprecedented work is taking place to strengthen democracy and women empowerment. Under Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, grand Simhasth will be held in Ujjain in 2028, where 25 to 30 crore Sanatanis will take dip in sacred Shipra River. Development works in capital have accelerated under Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. State has farmer-friendly government, standing for farmer welfare at every opportunity. Road connectivity between villages of Bhopal and Sehore will be enhanced. MLA Shri Sharma requested renaming village Fanda as Harihar Nagar as per regional sentiment.
Mayor Shrimati Malti Rai said on completion of successful two years of Madhya Pradesh government, development and service under Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s leadership continues to accelerate. In last two years, many major works have been done for Bhopal’s development. Capital has undergone all-round development and beautification through GIS implementation. Historical religious sites including Omkareshwar and Chitrakoot are being developed for public use. Recently, Bhopal got Shikara boat service, modelled on Kashmir. Now, ground-breaking for grand Vikramaditya Swagat Dwar has been performed. Bhopal received 100 electric buses with support from central and state governments. Charging stations are being built at Rs 16 crore for their smooth operation. BRTS was removed under Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s directions for smoother commuting. Development works are on in capital under Amrit 2.0 scheme.
The programme was attended by MLA Shri Bhagwandas Sabnani, Municipal Corporation President Shri Kishan Suryavanshi, Commissioner Shri Sanskriti Jain, officers including Shri Ashish Usha Agrawal, representatives, and large number of local people.
