‘The thoughts and messages of Saint Guru Ghasidas Baba are relevant: CM Sai’

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today attended the Mamta Nirvana Diwas and district level oath taking ceremony organized at Shri Govindram Nirmalkar Auditorium, Rajnandgaon. On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, MP Shri Santosh Pandey, MLA Arang Guru Khuswant Saheb and other public representatives were present.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai announced to name the Government New College Thelkadih after Saint Guru Ghasidas Baba. The Chief Minister announced to give Rs. 10 lakh each for the construction of Satnam Bhawan in village Sonesar of Rajnandgaon development block, village Sakardahara of Dongargaon development block, village Motipur of Rajnandgaon development block and stage construction in Satnam Bhawan Rajnandgaon and Rs. 5 lakh for the installation of the statue of Mamta Minimata in Government Polytechnic College Rajnandgaon. On this occasion, the Satnami community felicitated the Chief Minister by putting a turban on him. The Chief Minister administered the oath to everyone to respect the national flag Tricolour under the Har Ghar Tiranga programme.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai paid humble tribute to the loving Minimata and bowed down to her. He congratulated the newly elected office bearers of the District Satnami Seva Samiti and said that all should follow the path of Saint Guru Ghasidas Baba and take the Satnami society forward in every field of education and development. He said that after the independence of the country, loving Minimata was the first woman MP. While working in undivided Madhya Pradesh, she worked throughout her life to promote women power and remove untouchability.

The Chief Minister further said that Saint Guru Ghasidas Baba gave the message of Manke-Manke Ek Saman in the 18th century and his messages are still guiding and relevant to remove untouchability and discrimination prevalent in the society. He said that by following the thoughts and messages of Saint Guru Ghasidas Baba, the Chhattisgarh government is working to fulfill Modi’s guarantee. The government is working in the interest of farmers, women, youth and various sections. The general public is getting benefits from schemes like Ramlala Darshan, standard sack remuneration of Rs. 5500 under Tendu leaf collection. May the blessings of Saint Guru Ghasidas Baba remain like this and we can work in the interest of the general public. He recalled the contributions of Assembly Speaker and former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh for the construction of Jaitkham in Girodpuri, building for the Satnami community in the state, and promotion of cultural Panthi dance.

Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that the contribution of the loving Minimata has increased the participation of women in the society. She has played a leading role in the development of women and has increased their self-confidence. As the first woman MP in the year 1952, she made laws to remove untouchability and opposed the evils prevalent in the society. She led Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The Satnami community is progressing rapidly. He said that I am happy that I became the reason for the construction of Jaitkham in Girodpuri. He said that various schemes of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi are taking the country forward on the path of development. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai is continuously working in the interest of villages, poor and farmers. Everyone is benefiting from the scheme of 3100 rupees per quintal of paddy, payment of 3716 crore rupees of 2 years’ outstanding bonus of paddy, Mahtari Vandan Yojana to give 1000 rupees every month to 70 lakh mothers and sisters. She has created a lifelong path for the common people. In the coming times, more good works will be done under the leadership of the Chief Minister and the state will move forward in the direction of progress.

Member of Parliament Shri Santosh Pandey said that the Satnami community is moving forward with harmony and goodwill along with all other communities. He thanked the Chief Minister for his special affection for Rajnandgaon district. He said that we all should follow the path shown by Saint Guru Ghasidas Baba, Manke-Manke Ek Saman. The Chief Minister is working in accordance with this intention. He congratulated and wished all the elected officials.

MLA Arang Guru Khuswant Saheb said that the loving Minimata has worked to stop child marriage, eradicate untouchability and in the interest of the society. He said that the Satnami community is working to spread the message of Saint Guru Ghasidas Baba’s Manke-Manke Ek Saman to the people. A large number of houses have been constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The beneficiaries of scheduled caste and tribe living in rural areas have benefited from this. The Satnami community has progressed and developed. He said that for the all-round development of the society, everyone has to follow the path shown by Saint Guru Ghasidas Baba. One has to stay away from addictions like alcohol and gutkha.

On this occasion, former MP Mr. Madhusudan Yadav, MLA Dongargarh Mrs. Harshita Baghel, former MLA Mr. Ramji Bharti, former minister Mr. Dhanesh Patila, former MLA Mr. Vinod Khandekar, Mr. Sachin Baghel, Mr. Khubchand Parikh, Mr. Neelu Sharma, Mr. Ramesh Patel, Mr. Bharat Verma, Mr. Komal Rajput, Mr. Dinesh Gandhi, Mr. Rikhiram Gendre, Kulbir Singh Chhabra, Mr. Chetan Chandel, Mr. Parth Gendre and other public representatives, District Satmani Seva Samiti President Yuvraj Das Dhirher, Vice President Mr. Kamleshwar Sande, Vice President Women Pratima Banjare, General Secretary Mr. Kamal Kumar Lahare, Treasurer Mr. Sanjeev Banjare, Secretary Mr. Rishiraj Khare and a large number of people from the society were present.
