Book “Gatiman Uttar Pradesh: Yogi sarkar ke bemisal 8 saal” launched

Publication highlights major achievements of the state, from law and order to investment

Lucknow, December 2025 : A book launch ceremony for “Gatiman Uttar Pradesh: Yogi Sarkar Ke Bemisal 8 Saal,” documenting the comprehensive transformation and development journey of Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, was held on Tuesday at the Visvesvaraya Auditorium in Lucknow.

Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana attended the event as the chief guest, while Minister for Women Welfare, Child Development and Nutrition Baby Rani Maurya was the special guest. Several dignitaries from political, social, administrative, and literary fields participated in the programme. A detailed review of the book was also presented during the event.

Addressing the gathering, Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are continuously working to realise the vision of India envisioned by the nation’s brave freedom fighters after Independence. He stated that Uttar Pradesh’s history and legacy have acquired a renewed identity, giving every citizen of the state a sense of pride.

He further remarked that history has seen saints who became kings, and today Uttar Pradesh is witnessing effective and ethical governance under the leadership of a “saint-statesman.” Highlighting Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s personality, he said it reflects a unique blend of compassion, culture, and values, which is evident in the all-round development achieved across sectors in the state.

Satish Mahana added that under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, Uttar Pradesh has gained fresh momentum in development and has emerged as a model state in investment, employment generation, industrial expansion, and social justice. He said the book stands as strong evidence of the government’s transparent, accountable, and result-oriented approach.

Speaking as the special guest, Baby Rani Maurya said that the Yogi government has strengthened social empowerment through well-planned policies and schemes for women, children, farmers, youth, and marginalised sections of society. She noted that the book presents a balanced and factual account of these efforts.

She added that the unprecedented progress achieved by Uttar Pradesh over the past eight years under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership was once unimaginable. Investment and industrial development, she said, have gained a new direction and strong momentum.

Chief Minister’s Advisor Avnish Kumar Awasthi said the book effectively captures revolutionary changes in law and order, e-governance, infrastructure, and investment, supported by credible data. He also praised the author’s in-depth research.

Author Dr Sheelwant Singh stated that the objective of the book is to present, in a simple and accessible manner, the true picture of a rapidly transforming Uttar Pradesh under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over the past eight years. The book highlights innovative initiatives in agriculture, industry, tourism, health, education, law and order, infrastructure, entrepreneurship, and employment, along with the changing prospects for youth, women, and farmers.

The book is divided into five sections covering 22 topics. Key highlights include Maha Kumbh 2025, the One District One Product (ODOP) scheme, the Film City project, the one trillion dollar economy target, and the cultural rejuvenation of Ayodhya and Kashi.

MLA O.P. Srivastava, Legislative Assembly Principal Secretary Pradeep Kumar Dubey, Piyush Kumar of Prabhat Prakashan, Manikant Shukla, and several other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
