‘Run for Viksit Rajasthan’— Huge Turnout in Jaisalmer, Citizens Run with a Pledge for Development
Jaipur, December 2025 : To mark the successful completion of two years of the state government, a grand district-level run was organised on Sunday under the “Run for Viksit Rajasthan” programme. Jaisalmer MLA Chotu Singh Bhati flagged off the run held at Shaheed Poonam Singh Stadium.
The run began from Shaheed Poonam Singh Stadium and concluded at Gadsisar Chauraha, covering Hanuman Chauraha and Neeraj Bus Stand Circle along the route. The entire stretch was filled with an atmosphere of enthusiasm reflecting development, unity, and public participation.
On this occasion, District Collector Pratap Singh, Deputy Inspector General of the Border Security Force (North Sector) M.L. Garg, Additional District Collector Parsaram Saini, Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad Rashmi Rani, senior BSF North officials, District Sports Officer Rakesh Vishnoi, social worker Kawaraj Singh Chauhan, elected representatives, administrative officers and staff, BSF and police personnel, youth, students, sportspersons, and a large number of citizens participated with great enthusiasm.
Addressing the programme, Jaisalmer MLA Chotu Singh Bhati said that Run for Viksit Rajasthan is not just a race, but a symbol of the state government’s developmental efforts, welfare schemes, and commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle. Through this event, a message was conveyed to the people about the resolve to build a developed, empowered, and self-reliant Rajasthan.
During the run, a remarkable blend of discipline, excitement, and energy was witnessed among the participants. The active participation of citizens, youth, and students proved that Rajasthan’s future is firmly committed to moving ahead on the path of development.
With the successful organisation of this event, an atmosphere of celebration prevailed in Jaisalmer over the state government’s achievements in the last two years, reaffirming the collective resolve to realise the vision of a “Viksit Rajasthan.”
