RSRDC Approves ₹4,938 Crore Loan for Expressway Projects

Jaipur, May 2026 : Deputy Chief Minister and Chairperson of the Rajasthan State Road Development and Construction Corporation (RSRDC), Diya Kumari, chaired the 131st Board Meeting of RSRDC on Sunday and approved a loan proposal of ₹4,938 crore for land acquisition in expressway projects. The approval was granted to expedite the construction work of the Kotputli–Kishangarh and Beawar–Bharatpur expressway projects.

During the meeting, the Deputy Chief Minister also approved a loan proposal worth ₹460 crore for the upgradation of the Nasirabad–Sarwar–Kekri–Deoli road (SH-26), construction of the Kekri bypass, and widening the road from two lanes to four lanes.

In addition, a proposal to increase the loan amount for repair work of the Gotan–Bilara–Pundal road from ₹17 crore to ₹27.87 crore was also approved.

The meeting also approved a total of 33 regular and 2 additional agenda items, including the finalisation of the financial year 2024–25 balance sheet.

During the meeting held at the RSRDC auditorium, the Deputy Chief Minister said that priority should be given to the utility of road construction projects so that they become more beneficial and useful for the general public.

The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary of the Public Works Department Praveen Gupta, Principal Secretary (Transport) Bhawani Singh Detha, Secretary (Finance) Tina Soni, Secretary (Public Works Department) D.R. Meghwal, Chief Engineer (Buildings) Satyendra Singh, Managing Director of RSRDC Sunil Jayasingh, Company Secretary, and other officials of RSRDC.
