Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi Visit Ranthambore for New Year

Jaipur, Dec 2025 : Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and party General Secretary and MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra arrived at Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan’s Sawai Madhopur district on Tuesday to usher in the New Year with their family.

The siblings reached the town around 12:30 pm along with other family members. Their visit has sparked speculation that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s son, Rehan Vadra, may get engaged during the four-day stay, although no official confirmation has been made by the family.

The Gandhi family is scheduled to stay at Sher Bagh, a luxury resort located close to the Ranthambore National Park. During their visit, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra are expected to spend time at the resort and may also undertake safaris inside the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, a destination known for its rich wildlife and tiger population.

Ranthambore has long been a favoured personal retreat for Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. Over the years, she has visited the national park multiple times for private family vacations and wildlife excursions. Her most recent visit prior to this was in September–October 2025, when she stayed for several days with her children, enjoying tiger safaris and family time.

She also travelled to Ranthambore in late 2024 and again in 2023, often staying at or near the Sher Bagh resort. Following the Wayanad bypolls last year, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra spent nearly five days in the area with her family. Earlier visits have included trips with her husband Robert Vadra and celebrations of personal milestones, including birthdays.

These repeated visits underline a strong personal connection to Ranthambore, which the Congress leader has consistently chosen as a space for quiet family moments away from public life. The current visit, however, has drawn heightened attention due to the engagement rumours and the presence of senior Congress figures.

As the New Year approaches, the Gandhi family’s stay is expected to remain low-key, blending private celebrations with time spent amid Ranthambore’s natural surroundings.
