Submit Housing Proposals Immediately for Tribal Beneficiaries in Mangaon, Tala and Mhasla: Minister Aditi Tatkare
Mumbai, Dec 2025 : Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare has directed officials to immediately submit proposals for approving houses and releasing funds under the Tribal Housing Scheme (Urban) for eligible Scheduled Tribe beneficiaries within the municipal council limits of Mangaon, Tala and Mhasla.
A meeting was held at the Mantralaya to review the approval of housing for eligible Scheduled Tribe beneficiaries residing within the municipal council areas of Mangaon, Tala and Mhasla.
Minister Tatkare stated that proposals should be submitted for the approval of a total of 154 houses for Scheduled Tribe families currently deprived of housing—45 in Mangaon, 69 in Tala, and 40 in Mhasla (Raigad district). She instructed that all procedures related to fund allocation and approval of eligible beneficiaries be completed within the stipulated time frame.
Under the scheme, it is proposed to provide housing assistance of ₹2.50 lakh per beneficiary. After considering these proposals, eligible beneficiaries should be extended the benefits of the scheme. This initiative will ensure safe and secure housing for tribal families living in urban areas.
The meeting was attended by Tribal Development Department Joint Secretary Machhindra Shelke, Additional Commissioner Gopichand Kadam, Tala Tehsildar Swati Patil, Mangaon Deputy Municipal President Riya Ubhare, along with Anand Yadav, Laxmi Jadhav, Dilip Jadhav, Adv. Uttam Jadhav, Nana Bhuvad, Jagdish Shinde, Nagesh Lokhande, Kishor Shinde, Parshuram Kadam, Alim Pallavkar, Laxman Hilam, Vijay Tambe, Shahid Uke, and other officials.
