Second Anniversary of Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha Celebrated with Devotion
Lucknow, Dec 2025: The nation marked the second anniversary of the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha at the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya with deep devotion, spiritual fervour and nationwide celebrations. On the occasion, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak extended heartfelt greetings to citizens, describing the anniversary as a proud and historic moment for India’s cultural and spiritual heritage.
Speaking on the significance of the milestone, Pathak said the completion of two years of the Ram Lalla temple symbolised the revival and strengthening of Sanatan culture. He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for making it possible for the country to witness the consecration of Ram Lalla, calling it a moment cherished by millions of devotees. He noted that the temple stands as a spiritual beacon for people across India and beyond.
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust commemorated the anniversary with special prayers and religious ceremonies at the temple complex. The original Pran Pratishtha ceremony, held on Paush Shukla Paksha Dwadashi in 2024, was led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and marked the consecration of the Ram Lalla idol. The event was seen as the culmination of centuries of faith, devotion and struggle by the Hindu community, fulfilling a long-cherished aspiration.
Political leaders from across parties also shared their reflections on the occasion. BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla described the day as highly auspicious, recalling how the dream of a grand Ram Temple, awaited for nearly 500 years, was finally realised. He said the construction of the temple and the consecration of Ram Lalla symbolised the completion of years of penance and perseverance by devotees and saints.
JD(U) National Spokesperson Rajeev Ranjan Prasad highlighted India’s role as a spiritual guide to the world. He said Lord Shri Ram is revered not only by Hindus but also respected by people of all faiths for his ideals of righteousness, compassion and duty. Prasad noted that the establishment of the Ram Temple during Prime Minister Modi’s tenure marked a historic chapter in India’s spiritual journey, and the second anniversary is a moment of pride and joy for devotees.
Ayodhya witnessed a massive influx of pilgrims from different parts of the country, with thousands gathering at the temple to offer prayers. The entire Ram Nagari resonated with chants of “Jai Shri Ram,” as devotees participated in rituals, bhajans and processions. Streets, ghats and temple परिसर reflected an atmosphere of devotion and celebration, showcasing the deep emotional bond people share with Lord Ram.
The second anniversary of Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha reaffirmed the temple’s importance not just as a place of worship, but as a symbol of India’s ancient civilisation, cultural continuity and spiritual unity.
