Bhupender Yadav Interacts with Public at Alwar’s Namo Van Park, Promotes Healthy Living and Sustainable Development
Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Shri Bhupender Yadav interacted with the general public at the Namo Van Biodiversity Park in Alwar, conveying the message of adopting a healthy lifestyle, connecting with nature, and promoting tourism. He described strengthening basic infrastructure along with all-round development of the district as a priority and extended New Year greetings to all citizens.
Jaipur, January 2026 : During his visit to Alwar, Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Shri Bhupender Yadav undertook a morning walk at the Namo Van Biodiversity Park, where he interacted with people who had come for their daily walk and discussed the development of the district.
Shri Yadav extended New Year greetings to the visitors and wished for the prosperity of Alwar. He said that the holistic development of Alwar is his priority and rapid work is being carried out in this direction. In line with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of a Developed India, the district’s infrastructure is being strengthened. Under the Bharatmala Project, the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway has been connected to the six-lane Barod–Paniyala highway, which will improve road connectivity and save time for the general public.
He informed that Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Shri Nitin Gadkari has approved ₹862.22 crore for upgrading National Highway-921 into a four-lane road with paved shoulders in the Mahwa–Mandawar–Rajgarh region. The project will cover the stretch from the NH-921 junction near Mahwa Bypass to State Highway-25 near Kothi Narayanpur. He added that along with road connectivity, continuous efforts are being made to expand and strengthen the railway network in the district, and the foundation stone for new railway station buildings will be laid soon.
The Union Forest Minister said that special focus is being given to developing sports culture, environmental conservation, and promoting tourism in the district. As part of this initiative, the international-level Alwar Tiger Marathon will be organized on February 8. To expand sports facilities, a badminton court is being constructed at Gauri Devi College, and special efforts are underway to promote hockey in the district and in Shahjahanpur.
He further stated that women are being provided economic support through Rajeevika self-help groups to promote women empowerment. To strengthen the dairy sector and support livestock farmers, work is in progress to establish a new milk plant with a capacity of five lakh litres per day at Saras Dairy, with an investment of ₹350 crore. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the central and state governments are committed to farmer welfare, and a joint programme is being prepared through FPOs keeping in mind the interests of onion farmers in the district.
Shri Yadav said that development works will be further accelerated in line with public aspirations, and district-level issues will be resolved on priority.
On the occasion, Shri Ashok Gupta, Shri Ghanshyam Gurjar, Shri Jitendra Rathore, Shri Mahesh Nihalwani, Shri Nilesh Khandelwal, Shri Naresh Goyal, Shri Pramod Vijay, Shri Mukesh Vijay, Shri Prem Patel and Shri Deshraj Kharera were also present.
