Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today presented the first prize to the Central Industrial Security Force for the attractive march past

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai hoisted the flag and took the salute of the parade at the state level function of 78th Independence Day organized at Police Parade Ground in the capital Raipur this morning. On this occasion, 16 platoons saluted by doing an attractive march past under the leadership of Parade Commander Shri Ravindra Meena. Chief Minister Shri Sai awarded the first prize to Central Industrial Security Force among the Central Forces and the first prize to Chhattisgarh Armed Force (Women) among the State Forces for the attractive march past.

In the main function of 78th Independence Day, Parade Commander Shri Ravindra Meena inspected the parade at Police Parade Ground. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai got introduced to the parade commanders. On this occasion, Director General of Police Shri Ashok Juneja accompanied the Chief Minister. The platoons fired in celebration. The Chief Minister congratulated and wished the people of the state on Independence Day. He released colorful balloons symbolizing joy and happiness in the sky and read out a message to the public focused on the work, policies and schemes being done by the state government for the continuous development of the state.

In the Independence Day main function, under the leadership of Parade Commander Shri Ravindra Meena, the soldiers of Border Security Force, Central Reserve Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Security Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Central Armed Forces (Men), Odisha Police, Chhattisgarh Armed Forces (Men), Chhattisgarh Armed Forces (Women), Chhattisgarh Police Force Women, Chhattisgarh Police 6th Battalion, Jail Platoon, City Army 13th Battalion (Men), City Army (Women), NCC Junior (Men), NCC Junior (Women), Police Cavalry Team, Band Platoon 1st Battalion did an attractive march past and saluted Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai.  

For the attractive march past, Central Industrial Security Force got first place among the Central Forces, Indo-Tibetan Border Security Force got second place and Odisha Police got third place, which were awarded by Chief Minister Shri Sai. Similarly, among the state forces, Chhattisgarh Armed Force (Women) got first prize, Jail Platoon got second place and Central Armed Force (Men) got third prize. For NCC, NCC Junior Boys got first prize and NCC Junior Girls got second prize, by the Chief Minister.
