Chief Minister Dr. Yadav in Davos on Wednesday
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will present the state’s investment climate, policy framework and available investment opportunities on the global platform of the World Economic Forum during his visit to Davos on Wednesday. He will also provide a detailed overview of the state’s preparedness, policy clarity, and long-term development vision across priority sectors, including industrial investment, advanced technology, tourism, healthcare, logistics, energy and defence manufacturing. In the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the Government of Madhya Pradesh will sign several important MoUs with international companies across key sectors.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will participate in high-level dialogues related to the renewable energy sector, including sessions focused on utility-scale energy transition, investment risk mitigation, and the role of sub-national governments. Through these interactions, Madhya Pradesh’s model for promoting green energy projects, encouraging private investment, and strengthening energy security will be presented to global investors and policymakers.
The state’s emerging potential in the tourism sector will also be showcased on the global stage. In a special session titled ‘Reimagining Tourism at Scale’, discussions will be held with global representatives from international hospitality, aviation, tourism forums and the creative industries on strategies to position tourism through a convergence of culture, heritage, innovation and connectivity, as a powerful driver of economic growth and employment generation.
Targeted one-to-one meetings will be held with global industry leaders from the energy, manufacturing, defence, healthcare, FMCG, aviation, and emerging technology sectors. These meetings aim to advance concrete investment opportunities, long-term industrial collaboration and employment generation in Madhya Pradesh. Through the session ‘Invest in India: Madhya Pradesh – A Strategic Investment Hub’, the state’s industrial potential, infrastructure readiness and sector-focused policies will be presented to global investors.
Besides formal sessions, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will engage in dialogues, roundtable discussions with industry leaders, networking meetings and interactions with global political representatives. Overall, the Davos visit will serve as a decisive initiative in preparing Madhya Pradesh for the future economy through investment, technology, and global collaboration.
The Davos visit of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is set to become a milestone in positioning Madhya Pradesh prominently on the global investment map, strengthening international partnerships and opening new avenues for large-scale investment and employment generation in the state.
