Interaction with the Beneficiaries of Nashik District
During this dialogue session, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde interacted with the representative beneficiaries of the Chief Minister’s Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana and the Chief Minister’s Youth Work Training Yojana in Nashik district. Nashik Divisional Commissioner Dr. Praveen Gedam, Collector Jalaj Sharma, In-charge Chief Executive Officer Dr. Arjun Gunde, Resident Deputy Collector Rajendra Wagh, Women and Child Development Officer Sunil Dusane, and Assistant Commissioner Anisa Tadvi from the District Skill Development, Employment, and Entrepreneurship Guidance Center, along with the beneficiaries of both schemes, were present.
On this occasion, Jyoti Khairnar and Jyoti Mahajan, beneficiaries of the Chief Minister’s Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, and Tejaswini Kulthe, a beneficiary of the Chief Minister’s Youth Work Training Yojana, shared their experiences with the Chief Minister.
Jyoti Sunil Khairnar (Res. Nandgaon, Dist. Nandgaon), a beneficiary of the Chief Minister’s Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, applied for the scheme on July 17. She expressed her gratitude, saying that within a month, an amount of Rs. 3,000 had been deposited in her bank account. She lives with her husband, mother-in-law, father-in-law, and two small children. Her husband works in a cloth shop, and they often struggled to make ends meet. To contribute to the family income, she joined the Asmita Gram Sangh and now works in pre-mixing millet. She expressed her gratitude to the state government, stating that the financial assistance would significantly help her family.
Jyoti Arun Mahajan (Res. Girnanagar, Dist. Nandgaon), another beneficiary of the Chief Minister’s Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, thanked the state government, saying that the amount had been deposited in her bank account three days prior. Her family consists of her husband, mother-in-law, and a son who has passed the 10th grade. Her husband works as a private driver, while she is involved with the CRP of the Umaid Abhiyan. She applied for the scheme on July 15 and also encouraged other women to apply. She mentioned that she would use the amount to support her son’s admission to an ITI course.
Both beneficiaries expressed their happiness and gratitude to the state government for having a Chief Minister who supports them like a brother.
Tejaswini Nandkumar Kulthe (Res. Nashik), a young graduate, was seeking employment but struggled due to a lack of experience. However, she learned about the Chief Minister’s Youth Work Training Scheme. After registering, she received an opportunity to work at the District Skill Development, Employment, and Entrepreneurship Guidance Center, for which she will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 10,000. She expressed her thanks to the state government, noting that this experience will not only provide financial assistance but also help her gain valuable experience in a government office, aiding her future job prospects.
