During the discussion, officials reviewed the various activities under Project LEAP, including health assessment camps conducted across different clusters in Lunglei District, and planned initiatives for 2026.
The health assessment camps were organized as follows:
- Lungsen RD Block: February 12

At these camps, Project LEAP facilitated health check-ups for persons with disabilities, assisted with obtaining UDID cards and other certificates (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Tribal Certificate, etc.), and provided assistive devices through ALIMCO. Through the health assessment camps, 1,091 persons received health check-ups. Additionally, UDID cards were issued to eligible persons, and various assistive devices were provided. By June 2025, 51 different types of assistive devices from ALIMCO were distributed to 740 persons. Access audits were also conducted to identify and improve accessibility for persons with disabilities, ensuring better use of services and facilities.
