Both leaders discuss cooperation, development and public welfare issues between Chhattisgarh and Odisha
Raipur, September 2026: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai paid a courtesy visit to Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at his residence in Bhubaneswar during his visit to Odisha on Saturday.
Chief Minister Majhi warmly welcomed Sai during the meeting. The two Chief Ministers held discussions on various issues related to mutual cooperation, development and public welfare between Chhattisgarh and Odisha.
Sai said that Chhattisgarh and Odisha are not only neighbouring states but are also deeply connected through their social, cultural and historical ties. He noted that people living in the border areas of both states share close and cordial relations.
The Chhattisgarh Chief Minister said that better coordination between the two states on issues related to development and public welfare would benefit citizens and provide fresh momentum to the overall progress of the region.
Both leaders also exchanged views on areas of mutual interest and the need to further strengthen cooperation between the neighbouring states.
