Chief Minister undertakes Padayatra from bus stand to temple
Jaisalmer, September 2026 : Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma on Wednesday paid obeisance at the Baba Ramdev Temple in Ramdevra, and offered prayers at the sacred samadhi. He prayed for the peace, prosperity and well-being of the State.
The Chief Minister also paid obeisance at the samadhi of Dalibai in the temple premises. Thereafter, he listened to the Rikkhiyas of Baba Ramdev at the Jamma-Jagran site. He also served Prasad to devotees at the free community kitchen.
Earlier, the Chief Minister commenced a padayatra from the bus stand and proceeded to the temple through the main market. During the padayatra, he carried the Dhwaja (neja) of Baba Ramdev. Minister of State for Industries and Commerce Shri K.K. Vishnoi, MLAs Shri Chhotu Singh Bhati and Mahant Pratap Puri, along with a large number of devotees, also joined the padayatra with devotion.
Earlier, upon his arrival in Ramdevra, the Chief Minister was warmly welcomed by devotees and the general public. He accepted their greetings and felicitations. After offering prayers at the temple, the Chief Minister had tea with public representatives at the main market of Ramdevra and interacted with the general public.
