Jaipur, August 2026 : Chief Secretary Shri V. Srinivas held a bilateral meeting with Dr. Alvaro Lario, President of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), at the IFAD Headquarters in Rome. The meeting focused on several important areas, including drought management, cropping patterns, dairy development, command area development and watershed development.
During the meeting, various aspects related to mitigating the impact of drought and cropping patterns were discussed. Discussions were also held on issues related to dairy development, command area development and watershed development.
The meeting also explored prospects for future collaboration in these areas.
