Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the lamp of development lit by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is spreading across the country. It symbolises Shri Modi's 25 years of service and responsibility to the nation. The Seva-Sankalp Campaign will be conducted across Madhya Pradesh from September 17 to October 17. On Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17, people across the state will light lamps in large numbers as a gesture of gratitude. The Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that efforts should be made to set a world record for the largest-ever lamp-lighting event on this occasion. He directed that the Seva-Sankalp Campaign be organised enthusiastically at the village and urban levels, ensuring maximum public participation. Responsibilities should be assigned to officers and employees in advance, with effective monitoring of all preparations and programmes. Better coordination should also be ensured among officers, employees and public representatives for the arrangements, along with 100 per cent participation of all concerned.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a state-level human rangoli event would be organised in Jabalpur under the Seva Ke Rang-Rashtra Ke Sang programme. The Chief Minister issued these directions while reviewing preparations for the Seva-Sankalp Campaign in the state at Samatva Bhawan.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla, Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Minister Shri Prahlad Patel, Minister Shri Rakesh Singh, Minister Sushri Nirmala Bhuria, Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang, Minister Shri Nagar Singh Chouhan, Minister Shri Rakesh Shukla, Minister Shri Inder Singh Parmar and Minister of State Shri Narendra Shivaji Patel participated virtually in the meeting.
Chief Secretary Shri Ashok Barnwal, Additional Chief Secretary Shri Neeraj Mandloi, Shri K.C. Gupta, Shri Sanjay Dubey, Shri Anupam Rajan, Shri Sanjay Shukla, Shri Shivshekhar Shukla and other senior officers were present at Samatva Bhawan. All Divisional Commissioners and District Collectors joined the meeting virtually.
Presentation on Activities under the Campaign
The Seva-Sankalp Campaign will commence on September 17, the birthday of Prime Minister Shri Modi, with the lighting of lamps across the state under the Ashirwad Ka Diya programme. Lamps will be lit simultaneously at 7 pm at Mahakal Lok in Ujjain, all Gram Panchayats and every ward of urban local bodies across Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will participate in the programme in Ujjain. All beneficiary families and institutions across the state will be encouraged to participate in the lamp-lighting ceremony. Efforts will be made to establish a world record for the largest lamp-lighting event on this significant occasion.
Blood donation camps will also be organised at all health centres and medical colleges on the same day. Directions were issued to make necessary arrangements for blood collection, transportation and storage. The state in-charge of the programme will be Urban Development and Housing Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya.
Mere Sapnon Ka Bharat: Painting and speech competitions will be organised at the district level from September 19 to 26 and at the state level on October 4 and 5. Government and private schools and colleges will participate. Winning students at the state-level competition will receive awards and certificates signed by the Chief Minister. School Education Minister Shri Rao Uday Pratap Singh will be the state in-charge.
Namo Seva–Ankahi Kahaniyan: This activity will be conducted from September 19 to October 5, featuring street plays at various public places. Culture Minister Shri Dharmendra Singh Lodhi will be the state in-charge.
Angan Milan Seva: The programme will be organised at all Anganwadi centres from September 26 to October 5. Snacks, sports equipment and reading materials will be arranged for children and mothers. A video message by the Chief Minister appealing to the public will also be shown to women and children at the Anganwadi centres. Information on health, nutrition, immunisation, anaemia and sanitation will also be provided. Women and Child Development Minister Sushri Nirmala Bhuria will be the state in-charge.
Seva Ki Kahani: The programme will run from September 17 to October 17. Messages of beneficiaries whose lives have been transformed through Central and State Government schemes will be released as a gesture of gratitude. Minister of State for Urban Development and Housing Smt. Pratima Bagri will be the state in-charge.
Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra: The yatra will be taken out in every Assembly constituency on October 7. District development booklets will be distributed and development activities undertaken in the respective districts will be discussed. Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang will be the state in-charge.
Badnagar (Gujarat)-Varanasi Seva Yatra: The yatra will be held from September 17 to October 7 and will pass through all districts of Madhya Pradesh. Public Health and Medical Education Minister Shri Narendra Shivaji Patel will be the programme in-charge.
Seva Mera Yogdan: The programme will be organised from October 2 to 10, with various service activities conducted with the participation of all sections of society and institutions. Public Works Minister Shri Rakesh Singh will be the state in-charge.
Seva Setu Campaign: The campaign will be held from October 2 to 10. Camps will be organised at the development-block level and zone-wise in urban local bodies. Eligible beneficiaries will receive benefits under various Central and State Government welfare schemes at the camps themselves. The Jan Vishwas Abhiyan will also be linked with this programme. Public Health and Medical Education Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla will be the state in-charge.
Seva Ke Rang-Rashtra Ke Sang: Large-scale human rangoli formations will be created with extensive public participation in Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Jhabua and Alirajpur on October 9 and 10. Minister for Scheduled Caste Welfare Shri Nagar Singh Chouhan will be the state in-charge.
Seva First Innovation Challenge: The programme will be organised on October 12, with participation from incubators, startup leaders and innovators. Minister for Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Shri Rakesh Shukla will be the state in-charge.
Sushasan Seva Samvad: This national-level programme will be held in New Delhi on October 17, with participation from Panch and Sarpanch representatives of Madhya Pradesh. Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Shri Prahlad Patel will be the state in-charge.
25 Saal–25 Kahaniyan: Kits received from the Central Government will be presented to families of eminent citizens and members of the intellectual community in all districts. Higher Education Minister Shri Inder Singh Parmar will be the state in-charge.
Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Influencer Exchange: Social media influencers from other states visiting Madhya Pradesh will tour various districts of the state under this programme. Higher Education Minister Shri Inder Singh Parmar will be the state in-charge.
During the meeting, directions were issued to make block-wise and zone-wise preparations for the Seva Setu mega camps and ensure that the maximum number of eligible beneficiaries receive benefits under various government schemes.
District officials were also directed to ensure proper arrangements for transportation, tours, food and other requirements of participants attending the programmes organised under the campaign.
